There's my secret that I've been sitting on for the last couple of months
I've been working here for almost 6 years, so it's somewhat bittersweet, but overall I'm ECSTATIC!!
I'll be working on taking my business full(ish) time, while keeping DD at home a few days a week.
It's scary but exhilarating! I've been thinking of doing this for so long and would constantly get cold feet. DH finally pushed me to take the leap and I had my mind made up a while ago, but wanted to ride out the holidays and use up my PTO.
Our busiest month of the year is Jan-Feb., so I gave a month notice so that I can ride that out and help my colleague as I want to keep good relationships in place should I ever need to go back to work in the future. My last day is 2/3!!
