i have been starting to clean out stuff from our spare bedroom for the new arrivals and am going to get the closet redone to fit all those cute baby things.
Gosh I need to! We have to completely remodel our spare room for baby, but I can't seem to get off my butt to clean it out so we can start! Time is starting to fly....
the mural i'm painting on all the walls in the nursery is almost done, we have a crib/mattress/bedding, a changing table/pad/cover, rocker, and baby swing (got those ones for xmas)...
Thursday I felt great and spent 3 hours cleaning my room. I went through everything! I was planning on busting out the baby's room on Friday, but I've felt horrible every day since. As soon as I can get off my butt I plan on clearing out as my junk as I can.
Our spare bedroom closet = My closet! So I have three giant bags of clothes I don't really wear anymore to give to Goodwill, and cleared out an entire rack for LO's clothes! It took about 5 hours on Wednesday (which to me was sickening...it took SO LONG because I had SO MUCH STUFF!!) but I feel great about it now!

I painted what will be the baby's room last week, and went out and bought the decorations so that I can get it decorated before I go back to work! I can't wait to get some furniture and put in there.
I am. But in a different way. We are planning on moving to a bigger place with a washer and dryer in spring. I have started researching that and started getting rid of a lot of stuff.
I had a dream last night that we found a secret passage way to a storage compartment and laundry room It was an AMAZING dream
I went on a spontaneous cleaning binge this weekend. I suddenly feel as though I need to get my house in order, so I suppose that I've started to nest.
Our bedroom needs some purging before there's room for a newborn. L needs to be moved into a big girl bed, which still needs to be bought, so the crib can be moved into our room. Nevermind all the sewing I need to do before we convert my sewing room back into the guest room.
I have been doing lots of cleaning- but probably more because I am trying to make a good start in 2012. Have sent 14 bags of clothes off to the clothing donation centre, cleaned out my bathroom cabinets today (2 bags of rubbish, expired makeup and stuff I will never use gone!) and I have been doing the dishes straight away all the time because otherwise I feel nauseated looking at them.
Funny story- the day I went into labour I actually cleaned the inside of my washing machine and vacummed, dusted and scrubbed the walls of the house. I did not realise I was in labour either until things went downhill fast (but I don't want to talk about my birth experience on here just yet) so I was cleaning up a storm and just thinking I had Branston Hicks contractions from 10am-4pm! I had visitors, was making coffee etc with no clue.

Yep! I'm almost 12 weeks and I've already started reorganizing, planning and staying on top of my schedule better (I'm a FTM and a housewife so I will be a SAHM) to prepare. I also already have the majority of my registry done and know where everything is going to go once baby gets here. Just gotta move things around to make the room lol.
