  Good luck today! Unfortunately there are no other alternatives except leaving them there.?

  Make sure you ask about pain management after the surgery. I've heard that you can be pretty sore afterwards and lifting (even a baby) might be out of the question for a couple of days.?

  I had an easy recovery (but did not have a newborn) when I had them removed... I recovered fairly quickly.  So sorry you have to deal with this right now. I was so sick before mine was removed it felt a million times better once it was out (but I was at the stage where i was having extreme belly pain, fever, constant nausea)
