Hurt to sleep on belly?

Does it hurt anyone to sleep on their bellies yet? I was never a huge belly sleeper but I would sometimes...now I can't at all, it's just too uncomfortable.  Is this happening to anyone else yet?

Re: Hurt to sleep on belly?

  • For most of the 1st tri it hurt because my boobs were too sore. Now my bump is big enough that it hurts to lay on it whenever I accidentally roll over and I get woken up and have to go to my side. Sigh. I will miss sleeping on my stomach!

  • It's uncomfortable to sleep on my stomach now and I'm a diehard stomach sleeper so this was disappointing so soon. I bought a snoogle to help me side sleep comfortably.

  • I usually sleep on my belly, and so far, no pain or discomfort.

I do need to get used to sleeping on my side soon.

  • I can still sleep on my tummy. That has been the only way I can fall asleep. I bought a Snoogle for when I can no longer sleep on my tummy.
  • I can't sleep on my stomach anymore either... it started to get bad at the end of last week.  Just really uncomfortable.

I had a snoogle from my last pregnancy (didn't need to bust it out then until 16 weeks), but it's helping a bit now!

  • VERY!  I have a regular pillow that is full of feather or something - it is super squishy and I put it under my belly - it helps so much!

  • My boobies hurt too bad to sleep on tummy sometimes! But I still can if I really felt like it. I'm chunky so maybe that's why.  ??
