Babies: 9 - 12 Months

6+ MO Sleep Gowns?? Do they exist?!

My DD is quickly outgrowing all of her sleep gowns.  Her Gerber Organics are still fitting, but they came in a set and I don't want/use the other pieces, and can't find find separates...  Anybody find a good company/store that carries larger gowns for 6-12 month infants??  I found a few on amazon, but wonder if anyone has found them more "locally".  The Carters "0-9 mo" ones are getting snug, and don't cover her feet anymore...  TIA!

  • I still put DS in the size 3-6 mo and put socks on him to keep warm. We have the Carter brand. I haven't seen larger ones either. We use the zip-up sleepers more though.

  • Halo Sleepsacks come in size medium and large (they go by weight to hel you choose.) Adam is in a large and still has room to grow. He sleeps in a footed fleece sleeper and a fleece sleepsack.
  • See, that's the thing, she sleeps in Halo Sleepsacks, but gowns underneath..  Its just so annoying that they don't make more sizes for gowns...little girls wear nightgowns their whole young life, why can't they make gowns that fit "older" babies??
  • Sounds like a $$$$ making scheme to me! Someone get going - quick?!!?!? :)
  • Gotcha - I guess they think that sleep gowns are only for middle of the night diaper changes, and at 6 months you're not changing diapers in the middle of the night. Don't you hate when you can't buy something that you know works because your DC is "too big"?

YES!!! And if you find somewhere I can get 6-9 mos underwear t-shirts.  JUST T-shirts, not onesie bottoms let me know.  Everything is a onesie and I just want to put a T-shirt underneath to keep her a little warmer.....  Sigh.
