  • Gah, I would hate to find out.  RTF is so expensive!

  • My dd is a thousand times worse on RTF. she has bad reflux. She's on Prevacid and nutramigen thickened with cereal. She does great that way.
  • Apparently this is true for Alimentum. Our formula Neocate only comes in powder.

  • I don't have any personal experience but O's NICU neighbor eats rtf because she digests it better. She does have reflux but that wasn't the reason for doing rtf. I talked to her mom last week because she's constantly searching for coupons and O had a few.

  • My DS has reflux and is on prevacid with thickened feeds. We kept him on rtf for first 10 weeks. For past week, he has been on powder and it has been working fine so far.
  • DS has reflux and was on Ranitidine for the first few months and the Pedi switched him to Enfamil A.R. (thickened with rice starch) I tired the RTF but he still spit up really bad, he is much better on powder. Our Pedi said that the powder is heavier so that's probably why it stays down better.
