bed sharing with 2 year old and 5 month old

How does this work?  DS (who is 2) starts off in his crib and then comes into bed with us at some point during the night.  We have a king size bed, but DS is such a restless sleeper, that he is sometimes perpendicular to me and dh with his feet on one of us and his head on the other...lol. DD just outgrew the bassinet, and we put her in her crib where she sleeps through the night.  I would love to have her in bed with us, either at naptime or if she was to wake up during the night(not that she does).  I am just afraid of DS hurting her while they sleep.

What do you do?

    DS1 sometimes joins us in the morning for the last hour or so before we all get up...  He sleeps between me and DH.  Babies on the outside of me and DH with a bed rail.
