That was all I could eat during the 1st timester with DS. This time, I have a healthier appetite, my morning sickness is nowhere near as bad and I don't have any food aversions. Eat whatever you can keep down.
Whoo whoo! I'm on the carb train as well. (It's got biscuit wheels.)
A few months ago I was on a high protein diet and the only carbs I ate were beans. Now, I think about a typical meal I would have eaten back then and it makes me feel sick. I am not down with meat (or eggs--ewwww) right now, but from what I understand, that's a pretty typical aversion, and carbs are helpful with keeping the m/s in check. Or at least that's what I tell myself as I down my 4th croissant of the day (I wish I was kidding).

I havent been eating many more carbs than usual! I have been much more hungry though but then when I eat about halfway through everything seems really gross! The only thing I have craved so far is avacoda, but I think I just wanted it more so than it being a "pregnancy craving"! I am only 5 weeks though so maybe the cravings come later!?
Yes, I have been eating a lot of processed carbs. Which is normally a very minute portion of my diet. But I am in sick time right now so I consider eating something that doesn't make me feel worse a success. And remember, it's just temporary.
ALL I want to eat is carbs and cheese. Mainly frozen pizza...
I don't feel like I'm hungry all the time, but when I do eat, I eat SO much. Kinda grosses me out but it's like I'm just discovering food all over again. I do try to mix in as many veggies and fruits as possible though!
Carbs are my friend!! They are the only thing that really makes me feel any better...I did try to throw in some fruits and other things today as I feel I have been eating just wayy to many carbs over this past weekend.
Yes, carbs in all forms are the only thing I WANT to eat. I've been forcing myself to eat fruit as well, and peas but other veggies turn my stomach. The thought of chicken makes me want to puke--and the smell! I carpool with someone who eats "protein pancakes" for breakfast and they are the worst smelling things ever. I don't know how I'll keep my pregnancy a secret until the 2nd tri. if I feel like I am going to vomit on the way to work!
Oh me too. I feel like I am not eating balanced at all which drives me crazy because I am normally a really healthy eater. I can do plain cereal with milk, dry toast and I had some g-free cheese pizza this weekend. Also I am liking orange juice. My husband is getting frustrated with me but I just can't even think about fruit, veggies or protein. I hope this wears off soon...

The carb thing has eased up a little for me. I am back on my healthy eating every 2-3 hours its seem to help my nausea.
Just try to have some protein with every snack meal even if your eating carbs might help tame down the nausea a little bit and keep you full longer.
Some go to protein sources other than meat:
Greek yogurt
Nuts
Peanut butter
Almond Milk
