  • Goal for the Week: Water, water, water. I need to drink more water and less Diet Coke.

    Question of the Week: I joined Weight Watchers online today. 

    Single Mother by Choice. Life didn't work out the way I planned so I did it on my own. IUI #s 1-3, unmedicated = BFN, IUI #s 4-6, 50mg Clomid, Ovidrel = BFN IVF #1: 23R, 20M, 17F. 5 day transfer 2 blasts. 2 Snowbabies BFP 6dp5dt, Beta #1 7dp5dt = 58, Beta #2 9dp5dt = 114, Beta #3 10dp5dt = 187 1st Ultrasound = 5/3, not much to see yet. 2nd Ultrasound = 5/17, TWINS!!! Hospital Bed Rest at 32 weeks due to pre-ecclampsia and severe edema. Audrey Grace, 5lbs9oz, & Lydia Louise, 6lbs, born via emergency c-section on 12/6/12 at 36w1d My IVF Journey

    Question of the Week:  Am joining weight watchers tonight.  I am also going to start the Couch to 5K training program this week.

  • Healthy living goal for the week:  No Sugar!!

    Question of the Week:  Are you doing any organized programs to help with nutrition/weight loss/exercise?  Which ones?  30 day shred 3X per week and walking at least 2X per week.

  • Goal: No sugar and a daily salad of some sort. No formal plan we have gym memberships so we need to get back into workout mode of weights and cardio 3-4 times a week plus the daily walks with my labs.

  • Healthy living goal for the week: To move more and sit less!

    Question of the Week:  Are you doing any organized programs to help with nutrition/weight loss/exercise?  Which ones? No organized program for me--but I started the "3 day diet" today.  It is not the best long term plan but in the past it has helped me shed enough pounds (quickly) to keep me motivated for the long haul.  :)

    Question of the Week:  Are you doing any organized programs to help with nutrition/weight loss/exercise?  Which ones?  I plan to start the SELF.com 2 lbs a week weight loss program.

  • Healthy Living Goal of the Week:  Move in some way every day - even if it's a short walk (did 12 minutes of hip hop and 15 minutes of Pilates on On Demand this afternoon).  Make healthier food choices.

    Question of the Week:  Not yet.  I'm thinking about starting Couch to 5K, though.

  • Plan our meals better.  We have been so lazy that we frequently miss meals in favor of snacking.  

     No formal plan but I just challenged hubby to the Black Eyed Peas dance game we got for Christmas.  Lots of smack talking going on!

  • Healthy Living goal of the week- walk with my walking buddy 4x this week before work.  We've already walked Sunday and Monday, so we're halfway there.  Only eat 50 percent of lunch DH makes me each morning.  Been giving away the potato chips (to my walking buddy) that DH insists are necessary with a chicken sandwich.

    Been thinking about ww.....but not yet willing to commit my $. 

    TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN Planning DE IVF, late March/early April- Donors ER expected to be 4/2-4/4. PAIF/SAIF welcome
  • Healthy living goal for the week:  Breakfast! Maybe I won't load up so much on carbs and fats for lunch if I get something in my stomach besides coffee.

    Question of the Week: No organized programs for me. Have a treadmill that has been collecting dust that needs to be used.

    Question of the Week: Are you doing any organized programs to help with nutrition/weight loss/exercise? Which ones? No, we walk the dog 3 miles per day. I will start to job a few blocks with interval training and walk at lunch too

    Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
    IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
    IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
    Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
    SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

    Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

  • Healthy living goal for the week:  More Vegetables and making sure I have all 8 glasses or water in a day

    Question of the Week:  I do Billy Blanks PT 24/7 religiously.  That is until I started losing energy and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.  It was about a week ago that I was able to start working out again!  YAY!

     I am with you on this!  I can have 2 cans of Diet Coke a day (I don't drink coffee) and then it is water, water, water!

  • I am tracking calories and exercise on My Fitness Pal.  I have tried a few trackers and this one is the best.  For me this helps so much and makes me think about my food choices.  As soon as christmas was over and I got on the scale I said thats it I need to do something.  If you are a member of MFP or want to join let please be friends with me :).  My username is mrsmichellev.

    Agree with the water, thing. don't drink diet coke, but i definitely could stand to drink more water.

    IVF #3.0: 3/2014. BCP & Microdose Lupron.  Cycle cancelled due to poor response.

  • Oh!!! Can I join this group?

    My goal for the week is to get back on track with my workouts/healthy eating. I kind fell off the wagon during the holidays.

    I have been doing P90x a few times a week and am training for my first 5K next month. Today's goal=run for 25 minutes!
