I have spent the past two days on the couch/in bed. My husband brings me food/drinks. I am kind of nauseous and tired but nothing that warrants being bedridden.
LOL! I was the same way yesterday. The couch was my best friend and DH thinks I need to eat MORE so is practically force feeding me...grrrr. Today he is working so I get a break and have spent the day taking down Christmas decorations so I am cutting my couch time down.

Hahaha, this has been me too. I have been on vacation since Dec 23rd and been rooted to the couch almost every day--well I have managed to work in a few workouts. It's going to be so hard to get back into it when I have to go back to work tomorrow; I'm in for a rude awakening. Hoping for some small miracle that I will have enough energy to get thru the day. It's going to be rough.
No worries though, you're pregnant and you need to enjoy your time and rest b/c once that little one comes there won't be anymore of that time for you!

Ha this is hilarious and I have been the exact same way! I have been on vacation for the last 2 weeks and going back to work on Friday is going to be rough! I have been sleeping in, laying around and doing nothing but eating. God forbid I would get up and clean! LOL My husband has been great, every time I go from the bed to the couch he brings me a pillow and blanket!
Just echoing what others have said here. I'm a teacher and I've been on vaca for 2 weeks...all I want to do is sleep and veg. Not nauseous, just exhausted. Good news is that I hear this will pass.
I took down the Christmas tree the other day (I was OVER it lol) and totally slept the entire next day. I haven't been getting 'exhausted' I've just been getting lazy like my batteries have run down. lol
Bring on the next trimester. lol For now, pass the chips.
Yay, husband just brought home iron pills, hopefully that will help. He has also been off for a week, it is much easier to be lazy with company. Hopefully being alone motivates me to get up tomorrow and run.
Wow. That sums up my weekend! Nausea and killer headaches have confined me to bed. My poor hubby.
Like
some other posters, I'm a teacher that's been off since the 24th.
I'm going back tomorrow and I'm excited to get back into a routine, but I'm worried about this nausea. I should be an adventure.
What
a roller coaster!

Re: I am a disgusting human being
Your'e not disgusting, your pregnant.
When I was in my 1st tri, I pretty much lost the month of October due to resting/ sleeping on the couch and throwingup.
It will pass, don't worry.

Lost our first little peanut on 1/17/2012 at 9 weeks and 5 days. We miss you little blessing, but we know you were too perfect for this world.

This. Just try to take advantage of the bursts of energy that you will get once you get farther along.
