Three Car Seats in a Hyundai Sante Fe

Not quite two under two again but close... I was wondering if anyone has experience with fitting three car seats in. Hyundai Sante Fe?

We will need two convertible seats and a Chico Keyfit 30.

 I have heard that Radian car seats are slim but have no clue which version??

 

Any advice would be helpful:)

 

PS this will be my husbands car and I will have a can but he drops the kids off at daycare in the mornings

    Lurking, but... We have a graco myride and there is no way we could fit three of them in the back. It's halfway into the middle seat as it is (only has anchors on the outside seats). It's a big convertible seat though, you might have better luck with a different kind, but it would be tight. Hth

    We have the Santa fe and Im currently riding in it. Do you have the third row or not? If you are putting them all in the second row, I'm thinking no. I really don't think so.

    I have a Britax convertible seat in mine (RF right now), I've had a 2nd car seat and a booster seat in my car before and it seemed to me that there would be NO WAY to fit a third seat in the Sante Fe. We're looking at Minivans *shudder* to buy at the end of the year since we know we want more than two. And with the new carseat laws/recommendations the kids will be in some type of seat for a long time, so we're just gonna bite the bullet and get a van. *shudder*

    I believe all of the models of the Sunshine Kids (now Diono) will fit 3 in a row in a mid-sized sedan, so I would think it would fit in the Sante Fe, also, it says they fit 2 plus a bucket seat, I haven't actually tried because I don't need to, but we have a Radian XT and a Premier and they are very slim compared to others.

    We have a Tuscon, so basically the same vehicle.  I have a FF Marathon behind the driver, an Evenflo Chase in the middle, and a Safety first infant bucket RF on the passenger side.  We are hoping that when DS3 is bigger we will be able to fit our other marathon in there RF.

    I have a Chevy Equinox with 3 carseats in the back - a Graco Snugride, a FF Britax Marathon, and a Sunshine Radian (now Diono) in the middle.

    All of the Radians should fit 3 across. We'll be buying 2 more when DS2 needs a convertible.
