I swear, my dog can sense this baby. She was always a little needy, but now she is like a barnacle on me. She needs to lay on me all the time, she follows me around and at night she likes to lay right next to my stomach. It's sweet, but a little annoying. Anyone else going through this?

Re: Pet Owners: Are your fur babies acting more clingy?
Yep. Both cats and both dogs are much clingier than usual, although not as bad as yours. The cats like to hang out with me in the morning while I'm eating in bed, trying not to vomit and the dogs just need to be in the same room with me. When I'm in bed, they climb up much more often than they used to and want to cuddle right next to me, instead of the foot of the bed.

We're at the IL's this weekend and brought the two dogs with us. The older of the two has pretty much been sitting by my side the whole weekend. He's not really interested in playing with my IL's dogs, who he usually loves. He just wants to sit by mommy and keep me company.

This time I'm not leaving without you.
Yes my kiddos ( 2 cats & 1 dog), are much more lovey and protective toward me lately. Wherever I go in my home, I always have a shadow behind me. My kitties are always snuggling with my tummy and my dog sleeps beside my side of the bed every night. They're also a little more understanding and less cranky in the mornings when I don't just jump out of bed to go and fetch them breakfast lol!
