Last crazy question...

When was your earliest u/s done?  I am trying to calculate when everything will be since I will flying to FL in mid Feb. I am hoping for A) a BFP B) To get 2 or 3 betas in prior and C) would love a u/s but I might be pushing it!

    pretty risky to plan on seeing a HB prior to 6 weeks... even a couple days after. I've had "COP" done before during week 5, but you see a sac, a pole... MAYBE... and it's pretty nerve-wracking.

    Some RE's won't so them prior to 7 weeks because it's so early that a hb may not be detectable yet.

    I had one at 5w6d and we thankfully were able to see a heartbeat but if you have a choice, I would wait until after 6w.  Like Davez said, not seeing a heartbeat would just be stressful for no reason.  Then you have to wait a week to get another u/s.  It's better just to wait a few days upfront and not cause yourself the unnecessary stress.
