Wishing baby had come before New Year

For several reasons, but right now I'm kinda wishing I could have an adult beverage. I'm not a huge drinker, but as soon as baby comes my first drink is going to be a frozen strawberry daiquiri. Yummm!

    I hear ya, sister!  I'm ready for an evening out with the gals, san belly and a delicious drink or two.  I'll be sure to test, pump and dump of course!

    I would LOVE a strong margarita on the rocks right now.

    But aside from that, I was hoping for a December 31st or January 1st baby too!

    I was in L&D on thursday and was really excited that I might have a 2011 baby but no baby! Still pregnant and ringing in the new year alone, DH and DD's are asleep already! :(  Rather be having some drinks with friends and DH. Maybe next year!

    Too tired to drink anything tonight anyway, but I will be having a mimosa with H in the morning. Looking forward to it! Love them with a yummy raspberry spumante from a great NYS winery!

    I'm not a big drinker either but I had a dream last night that I went up to the bar in a restaurant, ordered a white win spritzer and the bartender said to me, "Are you sure? You look a little drunk!"  I was offended and explained, "I certainly couldn't be drunk, I'm pregnant!" 

    That certainly didn't impress the bartender any more...

    So then all the people sitting at the bar started debating on if I should be served the drink or not.  I woke up before getting even a sip :( 

    Won't be much longer...

    I had several glasses of champers last night and they were tasty. . .  and medicinal.  I had zero desire to go into labor and have to drive an hour into the city with all the drunks on the road, and well, nothing puts the kabash on my BHC's like a glass or two of wine.

    We were hoping for New Year's Eve baby. It was my dad's birthday and he's been hoping all along she'd come on his 54th birthday. Two days left until my due date, but I'm guessing there will be no baby here that day. Just a feeling I've got.
