We welcomed our little sunshine into this world on Dec. 28 at 11:29pm (cst), she weigh 4lbs 1oz 17 in. long via emergency c-section. Happy Birthday Victoria Abigail **36 wks 1day**
The birth of my LO was very unexpected. I had a normal prenatal appointment at 8am, nothing out of the ordinary, I did mention to my DR. of a decrease fetal movement. I was hooked onto the fetal monitor at 8:30am for 15 mins and her movements were steady, no change whatsoever. To be safe I was sent to get a sonogram just to make sure our LO was ok. The sonogram techn was very quiet throughout the process, she moved my bump to try to make her move, and nothing. My nerves were killing me, I just wanted my LO to be ok,
I was escorted to L&D to wait for the results. I arrived at 10:20 to L&D triage where I changed into my gown and just waited for my results. Than everything happened so fast. My OB/GYN came in and gave me the news I was going to have this baby right now via c-section, once I knew it I was signing release paperwork while nurses were prepping me for the O.R. I called my husband at 10:45 and he arrives at 11am sharp. I was escorted into the OR room, I sat on the table to receive my epidural and was laid down. All I remember from there was discomfort and pain from when they were trying to get her out, I told them of the pain and I was given a general anesthetics and that was it.
I woke up in my recovery room, once monitored for 1hr I was moved to my room. It wasn't til 2pm that I was wheelchaired into the NICU to see my little flower. Seeing her for the first time made me just cry so much. I may not have a normal birthing story where my water broke and was in labor for hours but it ended with me meeting my daughter for the 1st time.
Now that she's in the NICU due to her sugar levels are low and she doesn't have enough body fat for her to keep herself warm without any help. I know she will get better and we will be able to take her home soon.

I was wondering about this too. Was it just minimal fetal movement that they didn't like?
