What's your favorite bra (NTTCALR)

Wondering what your favorite bra is and why.  I feel like I buy so many and wind up hating most of them for one reason or another.  You ladies are always full of great opinions...so let's hear them!

  • I am interested to see what the ladies here recommend.  I have yet to find one that doesn't irritate me at some point during the day!  As far as what I own, I'd say I probably prefer most a Nike sports bra.  LOL.  That's how awful every other one is.

I am wearing a sports bra right this very moment...so comfy, but aren't quite the right fit for work attire.

Exactly...lol.  I have Maidenform bras with "petals" built-in...loved them at first, but not so much anymore.

  • I love my miraculous bra from VS. it turns my baby B's into Crazy C's. My BFF is a bra designer, and she always comments on how great my "boobs" look when I wear it, and is shocked when I remind her that it's the fake booby bra. (you'de think she'de have learned by now)

  • Mine are from Target. Self expressions brand, slightly padded because I'm always cold and don't like nipples showing through clothes, and it has padded underwires. They are so comfy I don't even feel it when it's on and could probably sleep in them. They were $20 each but well worth it.
  • I love the Lane Bryant brand (Cacique). I tried them once 4 years ago and have never bought anything else since. They are a little more expensive ($36-$46) but when I can catch them on sale Buy 2 get 2 free it's worth it.

  • I know it's geared towards a younger crowd, but I really like Aerie bras by American Eagle. As a 36D, that's the highest size they go, but it's one of the only lines where I can find that size that still offers lifts, pushups, etc in beautiful patterns.
  • I have had VS Very Sexy for a LONG time and love them!

  • I am a B cup and my favorite are the "wear everywhere" bras from the VS Pink line. You can wear them under anything but I can't comment on support because I don't need much Embarrassed
  • whatever you do, you should get measured. I was wearing the wrong size.. no wonder the ladies looked lumpy! I would have never guessed I was the size they told me I was. It makes a big difference!

This!  I buy 4 at a time on their buy 2 get 2 sales.  My daily bra is their lace full coverage one.  I wear some of the plunges for low cut tops or going out.  My girls look GOOD in them Big Smile And I'll second the comment to get fitted.  Bras are so much more comfortable if you are wearing to correct size AND style for your body.

Me too! I also like the VS Pink "everyday push up"...Just the right amount of padding and lift to give me a little confidence. I agree with PP though, get measured! When I worked at VS during the holiday season a couple of years back I got measured for the first time and I was wearing the wrong size! Finding the right size makes all the difference in comfort.

Ditto this. Nordstroms will do the measuring, and I've heard more than one person comment that the Nordstroms staff is better trained to measure than VS.

Completely agree. I've had better luck with Nordstroms than anywhere else when it comes to putting me in the right size and not arguing with me about it. I'm a 34G so I need support, and that's expensive. Chantelle bras are great and I also found an Elle Macpherson bra that is very pretty and still keeps the girls in check. If you try on the Chantelle bras and figure out what styles you like, you can often find them much more cheaply on eBay. I would *love* to try the Prima Donna bras someday, I've heard great things.

These were the first VS bra's that I fell in love with.  Great support, push up, and all day comfortable.

There are VS Pink bra's that are identical to the VS Very Sexy line (just in pink geared for the younger crowd).  They are a good $10-$15 less than the Very Sexy, have pink inside the cups, and the Pink tag on the back.  I only know this because I was having trouble deciding which bra to use my $10 off coupon on and the saleslady pointed it out as I was comparing the two.

This bra is also amazing.  I only have small B's, but have the Incredible bra in both a traditional style and the razor back/front close.  It is extremely comfortable in both.

Overall, any of these three VS lines are the bomb diggity and I would recommend any of them.  HTH :-)
