Is anyone else experiences horrible back pain? Started slowly a few weeks ago and is now constant. I'm sure its from carrying my big fella up and down stairs and picking him up from the crib, floor etc. Any recomendations of how to ease this pain? Already have stopped carrying the car seat in and out of the car but there is not much I can avoid doing. Somehow I missed that this comes with new babies.
Re: I did not get the memo about crippling back pain
I was warned but didn't expect it to be this bad. I actually just got a deep tissue massage and now it feels WORSE! sigh...
I think the key is stretching as much as possible, building back muscles (using proper form), and trying to switch which side you hold LO on so the muscles don't build unevenly.
Feel better!
oh my gosh YES. mid-lower back pain is terrible. i took an aleve yesterday and it helped. that plus 30 mins on a heating pad took the edge off the pain, but it still aches.
once i am back in the city for work, i plan to do acupuncture - it's amazing!
