DS just turned two. I am debating between the two sets. I decided to
eliminate Sesame Street because it might be too babyish in the near
future. I like the Planes, Trains and Trucks set but for almost double
the cost am I gong to get that much more use out of it, like three more
years use than the Thomas Set I will still need to get wall to wall
carpeting, blinds and a sheer curtain because I am going with a straight
valance. I posted 2 Olive kids because one is the company site and the
other is Amazon which is a little less expensive for $300.00
Planes Trains and Trucks below: Total cost $300.00 (Amazon Price)

I need to decide by the end of the day.
Re: Which Bedding Set
By the end of the day, as in by midnight on the 31st? Or by the end of New Year's Day?
Call me a cheapskate, but I would never in a million years pay $300.00 for bedding for my kids, no matter how cute. I have found that a good plan is to stick with neutral or solid comforters or bedspreads, then let the kids pick whatever sheets they want at the moment.
So, my DD has a comforter with a duvet that is turquoise on one side and beachy stripes on the other. She's never been into really girly stuff, so her sheets have grown with her pretty well.
DS has a green quilt and a blue/white quilt. He tends to be more into licensed characters than his sister, so I usually buy him pretty cheap sheets so that in a year when he no longer wants to sleep on Lightning McQueen or Thomas, I'm not bent out of shape about it. He's currently into Star Wars, so one of his Christmas presents this year was the Wal-Mart cheap-o Darth Vader sheets. He couldn't be happier!
