Happy new year, I think I am in early labor

My original due date was Dec 22 so you can imagine how frustrated I have been waiting. Well, a low pressure system rolled in tonight and voila, I had a bloody show around 9:30pm! I have been having painful but inconsistant contractions. They are growing in intensity but still hard to time. They are generally around 10 min apart.

Looks like we will have a Jan 1 baby! Here's hoping everything keeps progressing!

My mom called me the other day asking about our weather forecast. She is completely convinced that a low pressure system is what will eventually kick start my labor. And the weather forecast for the next week in Boston . . . bright and sunny. I'll just have to hold out for the full moon next week instead.
