Do you have any resolutions in terms of parenting?
Some of mine are:
1. try to cook better meals for the boys, they are picky so I have somewhat given up on making new things since they always refuse it, but I need to try again.
2. pick a discipline plan for DS2 and stick with it. (DS1 works so well with positive reinforcement and 1-2-3 but DS2 is a little troublemaker!)
3. pick monthly goals for boys (just started with DS1, like November was learn to dress himself, December was make his bed everyday, I liked how this worked so I want to continue it)
Re: New Year's "parenting" resolutions?
Wow those are very specific. My only NY resolution is to be more in the moment. I am constantly worried about what needs to happen next and I think that if I could let that go I would be a better, more patient, more consistent parent and partner.

Cook more interesting meals. Poor DS doesn't get a huge range of different foods because he and I are both pretty picky. Plus, I just don't like cooking. But I hope to use my crock pot some this year and try out new recipes.
This exactly! Patience is the biggest thing I need to work on.
This is mine too!
Not to much parenting, but family resolutions. Now that I've cut back my hours at work I hope to cook dinner 6 nights/week. Try to have a more diverse and healthy dinner menu for us. Try to keep the house more organized during the week so we can enjoy family time on the weekend.
As far as parenting, being more patient with DS, and spending more time trying to teach him and read to him.
1. Stop cursing in front of DD.
2. Cook more from scratch. Defrosting =/= cooking.

To cook more
To find some things to do with LO outside of the house on weekends. I work so much and on weekends it would be fun to do some playgroups or something.

1) Plan and stick to a weekly meal plan that will allow DS to try more variety of foods.
2) Keep the house more organized and clean during the week for more weekend time together.
3) Do fun crafty stuff as a family and that will create memories to share and keep.
