DH's grandpa is dying. :(
This post is a bummer.
He has stomach cancer and it has spread to at least his liver. They are sending him home from the ICU tonight and hospice is going to set up shop in his house. They will be surprised if he wakes up tomorrow.
I was taken aback from the contrast of my daughter toddling up and down the hospital corridor this afternoon, just feet from where her great-grandfather lay dying.
Life is way too short, friends.
