Wait or no?

I will be 6 weeks pp in a couple days. I know H would be pretty excited if we had 'adult time' tonight to ring in the new year. Should I just give it a go or wait until 6 week mark?

I would go ahead and do it. If you're feeling 100% I don't see why not, I'm sure your doctor would clear you.

At probably 4 weeks pp I was physically up to it although I had a c-section. Emotionally on the other hand I was still a wreck.

We just did it for the first time last night. I've felt fabulous for weeks now.

6 weeks is really a ballpark estimate.

Go for it!

DH has been super affectionate the past few days, but with a csection I definitely have to wait the full 6 weeks. (DH wouldn't even let me drive half a mile away the other day so I doubt he will push the 6 week rule). I feel bad because I was not interested in sex for the last three months of pregnancy because it hurt too badly. I was trying to give him a little "attention" the other night but of course LO woke up before things got very far. I am just happy my libido is back because it disappeared during pregnancy.

I say, if you feel up to it, go for it. A little warning tho...don't be surprised if it hurts or is uncomfortable. It sometimes takes a few times to get back to a comfortable state. BUT not everyone has that problem.

I was told as soon as my bleeding had been gone for a few days and I felt up to it to go for it. We did it at 1 month PP
