You may have seen my post earlier in the week about whether or not Femara moved up your o date and my concern for timing in January. CD1 is today (not sure why ticker hasn't changed). DH is scheduled to be out of town 1/15-1/20. If I O late again (assuming I really did O) on CD 20 then he will be gone during the ENTIRE fertile window. If Femara moves me up to CD 14 or anywhere close to that, we're safe. Should I quit worrying about it and if I happen to O late pray that one of those swimmers is the kind that lives for up to 5 days? Or, buy a plane ticket with airline miles for that Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (return Tuesday and return to school Wednesday)? That would use 1 sick day and CD 20 would be on a Thursday so I would catch the window that way. But I'll have to take a1/2 day Friday to go to my far away RE for monitoring and then be out Monday and Tuesday...thats a lot of stress on a teacher too. In order to use airline miles, you have to book a minimum of 15 days in advanced- NOW. I can't make up my mind on what to do. HELP PLEASE! Thanks and sorry to be a PW today
oooo... that's a toughy... I've only been on Clomid and wound up O'ing a day late(CD13-14) (I usually O early CD12-13), but that also involved a trigger.... didn't get a +OPK in that window. I'd say screw it and use the miles... if they turn out not to be necessary... you can just have a fun trip... you'll be kicking yourself if you don't I think
I agree if you have the miles to use so all it costs is a little stress and a sick day - why not? It will be a little mini vaca if you don't need it. But I'm also like Gregermis, I usually O earlier on clomid (plus trigger) - I've never used femera.
I have to agree and say use the miles. I think you'd be more upset if you didn't use them and missed your window than if you do use them but don't end up needing to. Just look at it as a mini vaca!
I agree with the PPs. I know that's a lot of stress but it'll probably be more stress if you don't. Enjoy!!! Hotel sex can be fun!
