New Years Eve Plans?

What's everyone doing for NYE? I'm still so exhausted that I don't think I could possibly go out. We typically go to a friend's house to celebrate but I'm not feeling very festive. Would love to know how you ladies plan to celebrate tonight! Happy New Year!! 2012 will be amazing!!!

Staying in. We don't go out now that we have a LO. It makes me nervous with all the drivers out. My goal is to stay awake though. I haven't seen the ball drop in at least 3 years. I feel like I'm getting old!

My vote was to stay in, but hubby won out. We are heading to a friend's in a couple of minutes. Luckily I'm dd, so I can decide when we leave! Happy New YEar ladies!

I am waiting for a table at bonefish grill as I type this! Lemon butter salmon and mashed taters with veggies here I come! Then off to a friends house for a new years celebration with sparkling white grape juice. :-) hope everyone has a happy and healthy new years. :-)

Going to downtown Jax to see a light show and firework show at midnight! I feel kinda poopy today but I already told hubby we would go and I don't wanna go back on my word and make him sit in the house all evening, so I'm sucking it up!!

Since we just did a 16 hour drive home from TX yesterday we opted to stay in tonight! :-) Sad thing is we did the same thing last year!

So, i'm making pasta and getting some garlic bread from the store for dinner. I'm going to TRY to stay awake to see the ball drop... hopefully they have an east coast feed that we can watch and can celebrate the new years at 10pm MTN time. lol.

We usually go out for dinner and dancing, but I didn't feel too much like dancing this year, so we're just going out to dinner. The place we usually go to has some real foodie items on the menu this year, all of which are pregnancy no-nos (raw oysters and the like) so we're toning it town. This time next year I'll either be dying to go out or asleep by 8:30...

We are taking my parents out to dinner at 6:45 (PST) then coming home to a fire and champagne for everybody else! And I will try to stay awake for east coast midnight. Quiet! We were supposed to go see friends about 45 minutes away, but I don't want to drive tonight on very twisty roads, and my parents announced that they would be staying at our house tonight on their way to Monterey, so problem solved!

Nothing major. Our neighbors are coming over. The one couple usually duck out 1/2 way through our game nights and the other neighbors are a 45 year old mom and her teenage daughter. So it'll be low key. My friend and her boyfriend might come but she's getting over a cold and he was in the hosp. for the past mo (life of medical problems) and can't eat solid food or drink anything other then water basically so we'll be one lively group. I got some new games for us to try out. I'm just hoping my kids sleep through 'cause we can get loud and laugh a lot on game nights. I doubt we'll all make it to midnight though. Everyones getting here in like an hour (and by getting here I mean walking around the corner LOL).

I thought I was the only one too pooped to party tonight. We just got back from an amazing dinner and we are now on our couch watching the Caps lose to the Blue Jackets. I told DH to wake me if I fall asleep before midnight. Happy New Year's, ladies!

Passing up all the invitations to have a quiet anniversary at home. Pork & sauerkraut in the crockpot, DD off to bed on time and a low-key evening for DH and me. Hopefully we'll have some time to talk about all the changes for the coming year and how we'd like to see things go.

Right now I'm home by myself as I was too tired to go to my inlaws with DH. He is probably coming home soon though (around 9ish) so we'll probably just watch movies the rest of the night if I can stay awake. Some friends of ours invited us over but I told them I was too tired to go out so they offered to come hang out here if we're up to it after one of them gets off work. Maybe we'll have them over, but they always stay really late and I don't think I'll be able to stay awake that long tonight, lol.

We went out to an early dinner... was delicious but I got sick in the parking lot after. Now I'm in my robe and sweats and it's only 7pm. Feeling exhausted but hoping I can stay awake until midnight

DH, DD, & I went shopping then picked up hot wings to take back home. We watched Mr Poppers Penguins with dinner & then put DD to bed. Now DH & I are standing by with our sparkling grape juice for a midnight toast & then off to bed. Happy 2012!!!
