So my daughter was on Enfamil Enfacare until her 6 month check up which placed her weight at 35% for term infants, so her pedi and nutritionist felt she could go on the regular Enfamil Infant (formally lipil).
When I opened my first package of the regular enfamil, I noticed that the scoop seemed smaller than the enfacare scoop. I compared the two, and sure enough...the enfacare scoop was bigger! So it makes me wonder, is enfacare the exact same formula as their infant/lipil but because you are using more you are getting the higher calories, vitamins and minerals?? This whole time I was thinking I was buying something different than their regular infant formula, but not I think all I was paying extra for was the name and the scoop!
Anyone know anything about this or notice this?
Re: Enfamil users
I am not from this board (so you wouldn't have seen an introduction) but my doctor pretty much said enfacare is the scoop plus a teaspoon more of regular formula to get the calorie count to 22.
Hope this helps and sorry for butting in!
