DH and I are starting to think of boy names and have tentatively decided on Samuel Joseph. Joseph is a family name that we'd like to pass down.

What are your thoughts?

    It's NMS, but still a very nice, solid name that ages well. I like Joseph a lot.

    LOVE it...it was on my list of top names, but doesn't work with my LN.  I think it is a great name, and will age well...classic and not overly popular (IMO)

    I think it's a good combo. DH is Joseph, and I've always loved Samuel nn Sam.

    <3 it! We are using Samuel for a middle name - after my grandfather. I would use it as a first name b/c I love it. Sam is so cute for a boy or a man. But hubby wasn't too crazy.

    Great name! We are actually also thinking about using Joseph (family name) and trying to decide between Samuel, Isaac and Eli. DH doesn't like Joseph, but I told him he doesn't get a say in the matter :) He's pushing for Eli Samuel.
