Our son is just 9 months this weekend and I am 5 weeks pregnant. For the tenth time today, after excitedly telling a friend our news, I hear "again?? wow...... You didn't use protection?".
Sorry, no.
And we welcome our new bundle of joy, even if he / she is earlier than expected, so keep the dam comments to yourself!!
What should I say? I need to think of something so I don't wind up on a pregnant hormonal rampage and gut the person on the sidewalk!
Re: Annoyed at comments!!
But this sounds so much better than any witty comment I could come up with. I'm so hormonal and anti-social right now, I'd like to gut everyone who looks at me sideways... I got nothing.

wow, that would be extremely annoying. I would probably tell her straight up that her comment is rude to you. Not sure if that the most appropriate response, but at this moment that is probably what I would tell her.It would also depend on the relationship you have with her and how comfortable you feel with her.
Bytw, congratulations on your new bundle of joy!
Our 2nd child was not planned, but I never told anyone that. I felt that it was none of their business and that even though I did not plan it, it was in the plans somewhere.
I love this!!

Well I am really turning some heads and sparking the darnest comments. DD is only 4 1/2 months old and I am almost 9 weeks.
I have gotten a lot of "you are going to have your hands full" comments.
My response is "better to be full than empty"
Just try to ignore them. They just have diarrhea of the mouth!
Love this!
Too funny! My first thought would be to have a sarcastic/witty comment ready...or say something like, "Wow. I forgot that you had no manners." and then walk away.
Or try, "Well, we were hoping for twins the first time, so we really wanted another baby. Maybe we will get the twins this time! I am going for an even dozen in the end!"
All in all, the only thoughts and feelings that matter are yours and your husband's. The world is full of A-holes, and most of them stink! Hopefully, they stay out of your way
