Menstrual Like Cramping

Hey ladies, I've been having some really bad menstrual like cramping on and off all day long. I told my doctor at my appointment this morning but she didn't say anything about it, my bp was high and there was a very small trace of protein in my urine and I think she was more concerned about that (understandably) I know when my hips are hurting, it means my bones are seperating in preperation for delivery but I don't know what this is. Should I be worried?

    My labor with DD1 started with those cramps. If they become timeable, then this could be it :) Good luck!

    Also, when this happens, I get very hot and sweaty. When its not going on I'm fine though.

    I've had the same thing...my doc says it's totally normal, even good. It means we're progressing. I would only be concerned if you had bleeding as well.

    A heating pad or heat sock have helped me with the pain, as well as breathing and rocking back and forth on my hands and knees. Good luck!

    I've been having that too but milder. My dr said it means I'm dilating more.
