Well 2011 is going out with a bang (more T&Ps needed)-UPDATE in replies
Just talked to my mom and my BFF and it's sad news all around. The sac around her heart almost immediately filled with more blood that they had to drain, which was very painful for her and bad that it's filling so quickly. We still don't have answers as to what this ultimately means but it's pretty serious, and she is miserable. I'm going to try to go visit tomorrow without the baby.
I was talking to my BFF about this, she is 11 weeks pregnant, and she told me she got abnormal results in a test for Fragile X, so they are meeting with a geneticist on Tuesday and she is obviously very concerned that something is wrong with her baby and she may have to make the decision to terminate. She is trying to be positive and so am I but I am incredibly worried for her.
Anyway, I am overwhelmed with worry for both of them, I know I've used more than my fair share of T&Ps but if you have any to spare these wonderful women could use them. Hope you all have a happier NYE and 2012 is kinder to all of us!

I am so sorry, I hope 2012 brings you and Winter much needed peace.
Thanks ladies, you girls are always so amazing it touches my heart. I'm reading up on Fragile X, I didn't know that much about it, I guess her and her DH are carriers per the tests, but I'm hoping that if her baby is affected it's on the mild end of things, which can be as minor as a learning disability or autism, not that those are good but perhaps not life and death.
Ugh I just feel so bad for her even having to worry, they don't meet with the genetic counselor until Tuesday so I'm sure she is going nuts, we all know how excruciating those type of waits can be! And to think when she first told me she was PG I was a little jealous that since she hadn't dealt with a loss she would have a stress free pregnancy. Now I feel like a jerk for even thinking that.
Ugh I guess I'm just rambling but thank you again for giving me a place to get this all out.
