Another annoyed surgery vent

I was told I can take the bandage off today... well, I called the doc and left a message with his assistant because I have NO clue how to even get the bandage off.

It's super adhesive and there is no way it's coming off yet.

It's fine for me to leave it (I think?), but I don't want it on until I see the doctor in ten days. I read online that it shouldn't stay on that long.

The gauze under it really needs to be changed. But of course the assistant never called back today.

Wow...do they have an answering service that could page the dr? Or does your primary care office have this, so your own dr might be able to give you some tips? Hopefully someone else on the board may have more of a medical background with some quick tips for you
