No 'poo and dandruff

I always get really bad dandruff in the winter...so much so that I'm on a prescription for it. Has doing no 'poo helped anyone with that? I'm worried that if I stop using the prescription shampoo it will come back in full force!

    Most of my life I had really bad dandruff. Then I stopped relaxing my hair ad began co-washing(no-poo) and I haven't seen a flake in 6 years.
