DD is almost too long for a PNP so I need to start looking into what's next when we travel.
Do you just make them a pallet on the floor in your room?
Do you use an inflatable mattress like this? https://www.amazon.com/Shrunks-Tuckaire-Toddler-Inflatable-Travel/dp/B001EQ66WK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1325278669&sr=8-2
Do you use a cot like this? https://www.amazon.com/Regalo-Cot-Portable-Royal-Blue/dp/B000H1MRJO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325278669&sr=8-1
Re: bed for traveling after PNP

We have the Kidco PeaPod, and our DS loves it:

My thoughts too, but I didn't know if it is one of those, get what you pay for.
We have this one and loooove it

Our niece used this one once a week at her grandma's house for a couple of years before it got a hole and they had to get a new one.
