Evan... for a girl?

Thoughts? It's DH's middle name. We are struggling to come up with a girls name! My DH doesn't like it - for either a boy or girl. I don't hate it for a girl, but don't think I love it either. My DS is named after our grandfathers (first and middle) so now I feel like our DD's (due in February) name has to be equally meaningful.

What about Evana/Ivana? That's the female version of Evan, I think.

Either way, if you do use it, you should pair with a super girly mn so she has that to go by in case she hates.

It is definitely only a boy name for me. But I am completely against using boy names for girls and gender neutral names.

I know a girl named Evan. Actually, she was the only person I knew named Evan until recent years when babies started getting named Evan in mass numbers. I don't love it for a girl or a boy. I think it sounds boyish for a girl and soft for a boy leaving it somewhere in neverland.
