So Lo always has a runny nose/cold; sounds familiar right? And one of the DC mommies said that she got this nosfrida thing. I thought she said it was like an electronic aspirator, and I've been wanting to get one. So, I was looking on BRU for one, and it is not NOT what I thought it was. At 6 months pregnant I can't look at the toilet without gagging, so the thought of literally sucking the snot out of my kids nose is beyond gross.
Is there another type of nosefrida? Did I misunderstand the electronic/automatic part of this? Either way, does it work better than a bulb syringe which is what we are using now?

This! It's a wrestling match but it is so worth it.
I have a baby comfy nose....practically the same thing.
LO does fight it so I always do it when I'm nursing....it catches her off guard!
The NoseFrida is faster, easier, and so much more effective than the bulb. It's easier on your LO too because you don't stick anything in the nose, you just hold it up to the nostril. That also means that it won't irritate the nostril like a bulb can, which causes inflammation and makes things worse. The snot doesn't get anywhere near your mouth and it doesn't gross me out at all.
I use it with saline drops like a PP suggested. DS doesn't like the bulb, but he thinks the NoseFrida is funny and he doesn't fight it.
