Hard day, friends loss is bringing on heartache...

3 weeks ago I lost my little boy to Potter's Syndrome. We induced at 36 weeks and he gave us 35 minutes to cherish him. I've been doing fairly well, at least as well as can be expected during these times. During our journey with Gabriel I was introduced to a woman who was pregnant with a little girl with Anencephaly. She was due December 24th, I was due January 4th. She gave birth this morning to her angel and was blessed with 76 minutes wtih her. Its bringing back hard memories of the day we met Gabriel. My heart aches for her and her family, and for my Gabriel. I can't stop crying for the first time since we said goodbye.

I know there are good days and there are bad days, but wow is today ever a bad day...

    Big (((HUGS))).  I can definitely see how that brings back memories.  I'm so sorry for your friend's loss.
    Mom to Eliott Alexander, born sleeping at 37 weeks on 8/13/10. Most of us only dream of angels - I held one in my arms.

    I am so sorry for both you and your friend.  I actually lost my Annabelle to anencephaly too (she came spontaneously at 35 weeks and hear heart beat for a little over an hour before she passed away).  It is so difficult to experience and almost as difficult to watch someone close have to go through the same thing.  But I am glad both of you got a little bit of time with your babies to cherish and love on them before they left this earth.  (((HUGS)))
