So very short version my OB just delivered her baby so i get a new doc for my last month (whom I really like so far mind you).

I saw her Tuesday this week...70% 2cm, lost MP next day-could mean nothign but having more contractions, nothing timeable but she doesn't think I will go past 38w at this point

SO my next appt was scheduled for wed of next week since she won't generally be working Tuesdays NBD

Yesterday the office calls and pushes me back to Friday of next week because she has to move things around (I presume she had to schedule a CS or induction etc) which I understand...but that puts me closer to 2 weeks b/w appts than 1 and while I am sure its really NBD from e medical perspective and can always go in if something occurs, it just really annoyed the crap out of me for some reason-I guess just because I am anxious to get an update on what's going on down there.

    I get where you're coming from. It's nice to have that weekly appt so you get an update. Pushing it closer to two weeks, while not the end of the world, stinks. :-/

    I understand completely. Since I'm a FTM and LO is measuring a bit small according to ultrasound, I'm still on 2-week appointment intervals until I go Tuesday for my 38 week checkup. Then it switches to every other week. I hate being so far along and not knowing what's going on with my body. I'm hoping that when I have my internal on Tuesday I'm scary dilated and effaced... That'll show my OB! Haha

    Yeah so get this....my pal who has the same doc has an appt right before teh one of mine they pushed back-they told her they just overbookd (they told me doc wouldn't BE there) so i called back and chewed them out for being dishonest and suggested that if its an overbooking issue, they might push back someone who is scheduled for an annual pap or some such a few days rather than those of us on weekly OB checks.  So guess who now has her wed appt back.  I dont like being lied to.

    My last appt was on Wed... My MW said she wanted me back in a week. Well the next appt available is the 9th (2 days away from 2 weeks) and its not even with my MW. I'm so frustrated! I haven't seen any other midwives and I love mine. So I booked the rest of my appts for the pregnancy (unless she's super late) so I could have them basically every week and have them with my MW. I was not happy.
