Would you take LO to the dr?

I know I hate when people ask this but my mom and I are disagreeing so I am looking for some outside perspective. Charlotte has been running a fever since Wednesday morning. Highest it reached was 102.2 (rectal thermometer). Last night it was 100.8 when I put her to bed. It has been coming down, she is eating and drinking, we are alternating Advil and Tylenol. This morning it was 99.8 and I gave her Tylenol. She took a super long nap this morning (which is unusual for her) but now that she is awake, she is running around like herself, and her temp is 99.2. She has no other symptoms, and she is working on molars but has not run a fever for teething before.

If you were me, would you take LO to the pedi?

if its coming down, shes eating and drinking, and acting normal then no i wouldnt. L used to run a fever when he would cut teeth.

And actually that 99.8 and 99.2 were without meds right? I wouldn't even consider her to be having a fever anymore

E went through the same exact thing a week ago and it passed within about 3 days. We did not take him to the pedi, just when I was going to call on Day 4, the fever went away for good.

I wouldn't, but DH would insist. We are super sensitive to fevers since Pierce has had 2 febrile seizures. DH always thinks they might have ear infections too so he always wants to get them checked for that.

Thanks ladies, I was feeling like going to the dr was not called for but my mom had me second guessing myself.
