Would anyone want to share their stash? I'm just curious as to what other people use, as I'm just starting my wishlist. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share!
We have A LOT more diapers than we really need... always great for a busy time to go a little longer between washes but totally not necessary!
12 BG OS 4.0s
4 Best Bottom Covers and 12 small, 12 medium microfiber inserts
5 OS itti bittis
2 Blueberry OS Pockets
2 FB OS Pockets
1 Baby kicks OS Pocket
2 large wet bags and pail (medium size garbage can with lid)
24 cloth wipes
1 Spray bottle for cloth wipes
4 small wet bags
3 Wool dryer balls
Earth Mama Angel Baby diaper ointment
I kind of want to simplify and get rid of everything but the BGs and Best Bottoms... I bought more of them after DD was born and not sure what to do with the rest. Use them sometimes, not often though.
And that's pretty much it. We are going the CD route for the cost-effectiveness, so we aren't going overboard on the supplies. I do laundry every other to every third day. We use Rockin' Green - love it. We also use Grandma El's for rash prevention.
Good luck on your cloth diaper adventures!

This will probably be good therapy for me stopping buying them
I am also CDing twins so not totally insane but still, I have too many.
4 dozen NB prefolds
3 KLO NB size
10 NB Bummis covers
28 BG OS
24 FB OS
24 Kawaii, all different types
24 wipes, plan to get 2-3 dozen more
I guess that isn't too bad as long as I stop. I am still destashing some small FBs and finally sold some BG with applix in the last week so that helps the excess.

Angel Baby Bottom Balm for diaper prevention/treatment
I also have 4 BB covers with 12 small liners that I've been trying to sell off. Once these are gone I would like to invest in some diapers for overnight as I'm trying to get over my fear of using CD's overnight.

I just started about two months ago so right now I'm still experimenting with different brands and types of diapers. I have wayyyy too many right now because I keep buying new ones that I think I will like better (oh, and I have a slight obsession too...).
10 BG 4.0 OS - snaps and aplix, 1 BG Freetime AIO - aplix, 5 Flip covers w/ stay dry inserts and prefolds - snaps and aplix, ~20 Kawaiis (all different types) - mostly snaps, 3 Blueberry OS pockets - snaps, 1 Swaddlebees Simplex 2.0 and 1 tots bots Easy Fit.
Thanks for the help, ladies! Just a quick question, in case anyone checks back in. I was thinking about buying cheap OS pockets, such as Alva's or Sunbaby's and using those as covers when they are newborns and then as pockets when they are older, just as a way to save money. However, I'm not sure pockets can easily be used as covers or if it would be easier to just use them as the pockets when they are younger or if these diapers are even worth purchasing in the first place?
I did not CD a newborn but I'd imagine those would be extremely bulky as covers. I use Kawaii diapers (which are inexpensive) and they are the bulkiest diapers I have - and that is on my almost 7 month old baby. Also, if you use a pocket as a cover, if anything gets on the lining, you will have to change it. You can't spot clean it and reuse it. So it kind of defeats the nice aspect of a cover, right?
I haven't used them, but Econobums are supposed to be relatively cheap - I believe they are a cover and prefolds system made by BG. Maybe you could try that?
I plan to buy another dozen or so OS diapers, a wet bag, newborn prefolds and covers, and cloth wipes before the baby is born. I'm hoping I can get a few things for my baby shower and not have to buy quite so many.
ETA: That being said, all the BG 4.0s were gifts and I plan to try out other OS options once she is here and fits in them. That is just my current stash!

For a newborn, we had 2-3 dozen prefolds, a half dozen XS pockets, and maybe 10 fitteds
As she got older, it was almost exclusively pockets, probably 3 dozen or so
Now that she's older, it's a half dozen prefolds, a couple dozen pockets, and another dozen-plus fitteds. Covers are all wool
20 prefolds
8 covers
1 diaper sprayer
2 large wetbags that hang on the door
2 small wetbags for the diaper bag
And that's pretty much it. We are going the CD route for the cost-effectiveness, so we aren't going overboard on the supplies. I do laundry every other to every third day. We use Rockin' Green - love it. We also use Grandma El's for rash prevention.

27 cloth wipes (would like more of these)

I haven't actually started CDing yet since LO is due in March, but I got some Thirsties covers from their outlet for a great price.

I just got them in the mail and I can't tell if there is actually a reason for them being outlet quality. They look great to me!
Way more than I need right now but in a few weeks when I have 2 in diapers it should be just right.
