wondering if massage will push me over the edge

Just got done with an hour massage DH got me for Christmas. The massage therapist told me she could hit all the target points if I wanted. I'm wondering if labor may be soon:) Last time I went in for a check I was 3-4 cm dilated. Fingers crossedStick out tongue

    Well, it can't hurt. At least you got some relaxation out of it at the very least!

    I had a massage yesterday purposely so she could hit the pressure points that induce labor...no signs of labor yet :(

    I had a prenatal massage 3 weeks ago and the therapist knew that I was still early and therefore did a very light massage and avoided pressure points. Who knows whether it was related, but I started having contractions the next evening and have been on bed rest and Procardia since. Had I known, I probably would have skipped the massage, even though I have been getting them throughout my pregnancy.

    I had a prenatal massage to push all my acupressure points on purpose.  I'm not sure if it did anything because I was only 1cm dilated and 50% effaced today at my OB appt.  I'm going for acupuncture to help with dilation and labor tonight and next week.
