Molly's first birthday and party is a week from tomorrow (1/7.) I'm having a terrible time coming up with what to serve. The birthday girl is still toothless and so far, there aren't any other children attending except her brother.
The party is from 2 to 4. What kind of foods should I serve?
Re: Menu help - 1st Birthday Party
Veggies and/or Fruit tray and Crackers with cheese. Pretty much a party pleaser for the under 5 years crowd. The time is such that most kids should have already eaten lunch but just in case the invite should say "Molly is turning 1 !! Please join us for snacks from 2-4" or something like that.
Granted, we're also doing lunch since ours is earlier... but we're doing:
Sprial sliced ham
Pinwheels
Veggies and Dip
Fruit
Olive/Pickle tray
and cake
And I'm taking suggestions
Molly's birthday twin is having a retro rocket themed bday. Our menu is light:
Rocket sandwiches
Rocket fruit pops
Veg, fruit tray
meat cheese tray
Fries (one of the only fun things he can actually eat)
prob some little smokies, too.
Cake and ice cream
I popped the party theme into pinterest and found some cute ideas.
Happy Birthday to Molly!!
