I spy / Find it books?

Megan loves one of these that we came across in a waiting room and I can't remember which one it was.  She was able to do it all herself, i.e. figure out what she was supposed to find and find it.  I'd love to get her a book like this for her birthday!  Does anyone have a rec for one that would be appropriate for a 4 year old?

  • We got one for DS for Christmas, but he hasn't tried it yet.  You are welcome to look through it some time.

    awesome, thanks!

  • We have some "toddler" ones, one with Elmo and a Thomas one that we got at costco and he loves them, but they are larger pictures and fairly easy. I bet the book store would have some for preschoolers though.

Thanks for the reminder that we love these too :)

  • DD has a Disney Princess one that we got her at Kohl's last year and she still loves it.  But we've also checked out the Where's Waldo books from the library and she is actually really good at those - just be careful b/c some of those books have some violent pictures in them (there is one page I remember that had a "crusades" theme - nice.).

  • Grab some from your library to see which ones she likes the best.  There's the I Spy ones for older kids, there are some called Spot 7 which are neat and a little harder, the Seek and Find ones are the ones my boys love and there are a lot of different versions of those, there are ones called Can You See What I See that are fun...
