A family could use your thoughts and prayers...

A little boy in my daughter's class (her "boyfriend") just got very sick on their family holiday to South Africa. They flew back early to get him to a pediatric oncology unit here in NYC and they are doing a liver biopsy today.
 
He has always been a very lively little boy and this illness came out of nowhere. The initial tests suggested lymphoma but now the doctors suspect it could be something worse.
 
Keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Each of his parents lost a parent within the last six months so they could really use it! Also, hold your babies a little tighter.

    Omg I can't even imagine.. I'll definitely be holding my lo a little tighter after reading this :(
