this is dumb.
i'm at work and i want to leave early as does the few other people here but there are no managers here in any department to let us go!
grrr... usually they let people go early before the holiday- they did last week but i was off that day.
to add to my frustration, <que rant music>
my mom is watching M (who hasn't napped yet b/c my dad & brother were at my house this morning, with mom & M, fixing my kitchen sink and then his ST came (late) so he didn't get his nap yet) and DH said he would be there at 1 so my mom could leave and have the afternoon off so she could watch him for us tonight b/c my MIL can't b/c she is sick (flu) and even though i had the sneaky suspicion this would turn into a clusterf* and told DH last night to scrap the diner & movie plans, that we could do it another night DH insisted and said he'd be there, well he's not, and not answering his phone which makes me think he's at the casino. grrrrrrrrrrr. and i already bought the damn movie tickets online this morning. now i'll have to listen to my mom b!tch about watching him all day and all night when that wasn't the plan!
i should just leave work- this is an emergency right??

Oh and I think that I might be taking mom to the movie since DH messed up.
Umm....if DH pulled this on me (and my mom) and was sitting in a casino...with his phone off??!! He'd have bigger problems than me deciding to skip the movie. He might be looking for his balls in a snowbank. And then trying to figure out why his key didn't work in the door. But that's just me.
And I might be a little premenstrual. But still pi$$ed.
