That's a funny list. I had never even heard the term "trickeration" before so I don't know that it's been "over used" but I assume it's for halloween decor? I am afraid I am a perp of using "man cave" for our lower living room...since it has a dart board and sports photography as the wall decor. It's not that it's not a room for both of us, I just don't know what else to call it!
Love it! I think a lot of those words need to be tossed too. I'l have to tell DH about man cave. He wants to call our "media room" his man cave. Its a movie room with a bar and sports memorabilia that hasn't been put up yet but its main purpose is a movie room... bugs me when he calls that room a man cave

I feel the same way about "baby bump." I think it's because I'm bitter too but also because it sounds so cutesy.
I am equally over the term "man cave." I don't want a "man cave" in my home, sounds so depressing and cold.
I'm glad baby bump made it, and I'm also glad "pet parent" made it. Too many people I know use that one, and it drives me nuts!
