It's my mom's name. If your Dh is Mexican the "H" is silent and his side of the family could end up calling her "Alina", just a thought. Just so you know, this name is quite dated in Poland.

Yep. Remids me of Halima, which I think is also cute, but my best friend (from Egypt who is an expert on baby names all of a sudden, lol) Says "Eeeew! No! Halima is an old lady name in Arabic!" Haha.
