Weird fetishes your pets have...?

This is my last thread of the night, I promise.

My cat has always loved Q-tips and the plastic ends on shoelaces. He's recently picked up a new fetish. DH and I will wake up in the morning and he'll have dragged out all of my pads in the middle of the night. They're all over the floor. The whole 32 pack of them. DH said he saw my cat walking with them in his mouth across the living room. WTH?

My dog sucks on things- Blankets, stuffed toys, pretty much anything that she can slobber on that will potentially be near my bare feet. It's disgusting.

Both puppies also like to tear apart any sort of paper products-toilet paper, paper towels, kleenexes, napkins...

We have an extra new mop head in a bag that my cat keeps dragging up the stairs and pouncing on.

I really feel like I could go on for several more paragraphs- my creatures are outrageous!

My male dog is the one with the fetish. He loves butter, never eats off the counter, but if its butter forget it. He also loves paper, he will steal it right out of my hand! He also has to have a blanket in his mouth when anyone comes in the door. Now my girl is normal

This particular pet passed a few years ago, but her fetish was crazier than any others my pets have had - electrical cords... Mostly the ones that were plugged in.... Tv, computer, Christmas tree lights - all of those things you wouldn't normally need to unplug on a daily basis. My cat would chew the cords right until she got to the live wires and then would leave them alone and move to a new cord. And no, she did not pass from electrocution... Pancreatitis at 16 years. My current cat just loves bows... Off of presents, so we don't use bows at Christmas, but that is way better than the electrical cord thing.

One of my cats likes to eat the artificial Christmas tree, ribbons, or anything else with that crunchy, crinkly texture. Every year, despite my best efforts to keep him away from the tree & presents, he winds up getting a few bites in when I'm not looking. He then proceeds to spit it up all throughout the house... it's very festive-looking. Maybe he just likes to help decorate?

Gross, but she loves used tampons from the trash. It is disgusting! Other than that, she does like to chew on sticks all the time. I don't know, she isn't too crazy, just gross I guess.

Cats love to help you do things. My cats help pay bills (sitting on bills), fold laundry (roll all over clean laundry), and they help me try to be crafty and figure out ways to fix what's broken (because of them).

Golden has to totally destroy every stuffed toy in the house. Luckily it is just toys and not everything. She also put all 5 of them in her mouth so the doxie can't have one. Our doxie loves paper, any kind it will be ripped the threads also has to be on a lap. If I move her she will just move back and look at me and start to "mumble". Our cat likes pens. He chews them to oblivion and then sticks them under doors. He also like to chase our doxie.

The funny thing is that it's said that animals pick up their odd/weird/crazy behaviors from their "people". LOL.

Mine likes to lick my cameras (and no, I don't do this). Stick out tongue Every time I pick up a camera, she'll run over and try to lick the lense. F'ing weird man. I can't tell you how many random shots of my dog's tongue I have...I've lost count.

He likes to eat used tampons from the trash (ew). I know there are a lot more but the only other thing I can think of is carrying things around in his mouth- not to eat just to carry all proudly haha. Oh! He likes to sleep in this one corner in our living room between my side of the couch and the entertainment center.

One of our cats loves lemon scents - furniture polish and other cleaners in particular. She follows me around when I dust, jumping on the surfaces I have cleaned and rolling around in absolute joy, usually falling off at some point . Apparently cats are supposed to hate lemon scented products, which are marketed as tools to help deter scratching, etc, so it is kind of funny.

My dog loves to eat dirty underwear (so gross). We have to put undies directly in the washer or in the hamper on the dryer out of her reach. Our cat loves to play and be carried in plastic grocery bags and he likes to try to nurse on the dog in the morning (he's 2 and a half!). At one point he was doing it so much it caused our pup whos never had puppies to lactate

Thor, our cat, has many weird fetishes. He loves toilet paper, I have come home to the whole brand new roll unrolled in the bathroom, torn to shreds. As soon as DH or I take off our shoes, he has his head in them, I am waiting for him to get one stuck on his head. He sucks on everything, blankets, jeans, shirts, his bed, plastic bags. Its terrible!

My cat is obsessed with lots of things...q-tips, water and blankets are his favorites though.

With the q-tips, he stares at us when we use them and if he is on the bathroom counter when you use them he tries to grab at them. It is good to keep him distracted when we BD though.

The water includes running faucets, glasses of water and even our toilets which he has jumped into on several occasions and come out drenched, which is why we now remind all our guests immediately upon entering the house that they must make sure to put the lids down after they use the bathroom.He loves sticking his face and paws in any kind of water he can find.

The blanket obsession is him suckling on them and thinking he is nursing but he looks so cute when he does it!

We discovered the fake tinsel in our cat's litter this year. Of course, he'll eat ballon string, so this didn't surprise me.

My cat is obsessed with whipped cream from the can. She can hear the squirt noise from anywhere in the house she comes running and will stare you down and follow you until you give her some. I don't think my dogs are obsessed with anything out of the ordinary....I'm probably just used to their strange behaviors.

Gracie, the Great Dane, is obsessed with bagels, soccer balls, and pizza crust. She is also obsessive with rawhides and cannot have them b/c she growls at anyone that comes near her when she has one in her mouth.

Charlie, the daschund, is obsessed with chewing holes in blankets. He also loves anything that squeaks. He also chews up used pads, and will chew holes in the crotch of underwear (ick)

Millie, the basset hound, loves to pull socks off your feet. She is also obsessed with cream sandwich cookie dog treats and laying in any other dog's bed but her own.

My dog, a lab, has a foot fetish

Well socks and shoes anyway. Everytime we leave the house he will find a used sock or shoe and take it to his bed to lay with it. He doesn't chew them or anything. I guess he just likes the scent. Weirdo.

My one dog love shredding my underwear. She will pull it from the hamper and just shred it. For christmas I received new underwear that my DH bought from her to me. She's too cute though so I can't really be mad at her for it and that's really the only thing she destroys.

Our little dog hoards toys, MH clothing, and unopened food (fortune cookies, small bags of chips) under our bed. She is 8 lbs of ninja and seems to be able to get items we specifically put out of her reach.

The pit, lik many PPs dogs, destroys stuffed animals that are left out.

One of my friends has a cat that sounds exactly like this! He LOVES cords...he once decided he was going to attack a cord to a air conditioner! Crazy...

My dog has a foot fetish. If you have bare feet in my house look out! I used to not be able to walk across the kitchen without him trying to get my feet. He has gotten better, but will still slobber all over your feet if you let him! (which we don't allow, but FIL lets him when he watches him!)

My dog loves to chew on water bottles. This didn't bother us until I woke up in the middle of the night and he had dragged my 96oz bottle of pine sol to the middle of my bedroom floor.

He also can't eat out of food bowls. The shiny bowls scare him because he can see his reflection (which he is scared of). We tried plastic bowls. He would pull the bowl towards him between each bite. He literally would do laps around the room as he ate. Now he eats off a towel.

My dog chases shadows like crazy. He sees them on the walls, ceiling, everywhere. After he barks at the shadow, he'll head butt the wall to try to "get" the shadow. It was cute at first, but now we need to touch up the paint on all of our walls

Good question! I know I'm late, but thought I would submit an entry:) Our cat sits on the back of the couch, or really anywhere, like a human. It's ridiculous. I submit our Christmas card as evidence:

My chihuahua (Cuervo) should be on the sex offender list. He's disgusting. His most unusual fetish, though there are many, is licking the grass while pooping and air humping. When we lived in an apartment, it was so embarrassing taking him for walks. We got him fixed when DH tried to make him stop one time and he finished...on his arm.

My cat is absolutely obsessed with licking people. She loves to lick hands, feet, or whatever she can get. When we have a guest, she will immediately go to the person, and try to lick them. She will use her paws to try and hold your hand still so she can lick it. It's so strange, and now I just put her up usually when we have guests. People are weirded out by her licking obession, and I can't really blame them.

Our cat LOVES ice cream, strawberries, & pineapple. I mean, that?s all he would eat if he could. If you sit down with one of the three he will be in your face in a matter of seconds! Also, he prefers water from the tap instead of his bowl. He?ll sit on the bathroom counter just staring at you & meowing until you turn on the faucet so he can drink. We give him fresh water in his bowl all the time but her rarely drinks it.

Be careful! I had a friend who had a 5 year old dog who passed away. They did an autopsy because they didn't know the cause...she ate a used tampon and it killed her So sad!

My dog loves to steal my socks and underwear from the dirty clothes hamper. She also gets really excited when I talk to her... she's a little person!

At about 10PM she will go into our bed and bark until we come in. She knows it's bed time...so cute

Bentley loves chocolate! He has consumed a 1/4 lb Hershey Kiss and an entire box of Samoas! (Separate occasions) Thankfully, he has never ingested a lethal amount but I will say after the Kiss incident, his GI tract was messed up for a few days. Although he's older and wiser now, we still put anything chocolate up high or locked away!
