MIL is getting a surprise party this Saturday. We are driving out of town for it. Baby will be nearly 2 months. It is cold and flu season. I have a couple options:
What would you do?
Go with baby, but leave early (we gotta get her to bed to kinda keep up some routine so she feels alright. We notice out of routine=really upset baby)
We both go, but leave baby with a trusted neighbor
DH just goes, I stay home with baby.
Re: When would you bring your 2mo old out to a party with lots of ppl?
at 2 or 3 months, my husband's cousin had a wedding reception. i felt a lot of pressure to go and take my son (from husband and MIL), but i didn't. my husband went and i stayed home. afterwards, my husband agreed it would have been a bad idea. i'm glad i did it, but i struggled with the decision.
When we go out and about with the twins, we usually will wear them in their carriers. It's the easiest way to be out and about with them without having to feel obligated to pass them around, etc. Plus, they usually will nap the whole time.
