OMG. OMG. DH is on board for TTC#2

I have been ready to TTC #2 for quite a while now. DH wanted to wait until next fall (sorry if I am repeating myself, I have mentioned this before) to start TTC, with the hope that we might get lucky and get pg in September, say, and have the baby in the Summer. This would be beneficial for several reasons:
1 - DH is off of law school and would be much more available to help with new baby AND (toddler) DS.
2 - my Mom is a teacher and would also be off for the summer and would be extremely helpful.
3 - The weather, period. I imagine having a newborn in warm weather would be nice, compared to a winter baby. I could easily get out of the house, take both kids for walks, etc. (ETA: we are not in ATX any more... PA, which has nice summers and coooold winters)
SO this past cycle, we had an almost oops. I POAS on Christmas morning and it was negative. (And then an hour later AF arrived... happy holidays to me - boo!) I was so sad, and I told DH.
He surprised me by saying that he would have been ok with it. He now feels, after finishing his first semester of law school, that as long as the baby isn't due around finals, he is ok with going for #2. He's leaving it up to me. He was honest and blunt about it - he said, "Think about it, seriously. If you are ok with being the one stuck at home with 2 little ones, I am fine with it."
I am aching for #2. I feel like our family is ready to grow, and I burst just thinking of DS with a little brother or sister.
If we TTC next cycle, and say we get pg, the baby would be due in October. Not ideal, but I feel like I could make anything work.
If we wait to TRY until next fall, the baby wouldn't arrive until Summer 2013 at the earliest. I don't think I can wait that long.
So sorry for this huge rant. I can't believe that suddenly it's really out on the table. I O early (on CD 10, usually), so if we make this decision, we will be TTC, um, next week.
Ack. Any thoughts either way? DS will turn 3 next November. If I get pregnant now, they would be almost exactly 3 years apart.

YUP! I was talking to the L&D nurses at the hospital when we were there last week and they said that the busiest time for them is sept/oct: New Years babies!!
I TOTALLY get how you're feeling, wrt: feeling like your family is ready to grow, bursting at the thought of DS having a sibling. I felt exactly the same way. I say go for it. If it doesnt happen the first month or 2, take a break for a month to avoid having a due date near finals time. Then try again the next month. Good luck to you - you can definitely make this work!

Yes, we will definitely take a break for 1-2 cycles to avoid a November birthday, which is a bummer, but necessary.
I feel so crazy - we decided this pretty suddenly (for us - we are usually planners) and feel like I need to run out and get prenatal pills, etc. ASAP. I was good and was taking them for a few months before TTC last time. Eep!
