Baby Registries

Where are you guys registered for LO? and also what are some key things that would be a good idea to add to the registry? I know Diapers will definately be on there-but any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated! TIA *Hugs*

Re: Baby Registries

  • BabiesRUs, Target, Amazon(Awesome!!)

Also, everyone gives onesies whether you ask for them or not, so don't put that one.
Bumbo!! Is awesome!! Don't forget the tray!
Look for a good diaper cream.
Changing pad, covers or even the portable changing pads.
    Diaper Bag
Nursing Cover(if you plan to nurse)
    Soft Blankie
Sleep Sheep(or some kind of sound maker/soother)
Binkies are good too, but you never know whether your baby will like a binky or what type they will like.(my first wanted MAM & my second only wanted her thumb)
Baby bath(one that be for a newborn, infant AND sitter is great like this one https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2403667
    Baby monitor

Also, most places suggest things to you.

  • A bra bag - perfect for washing and drying tiny little socks!  Also, a battery charger and rechargable batteries.  It seems like everything runs on AA batteries!

  • I am registering at Babies R Us and Target and both have registry starters/registry help that tells you the essentials you should include in your registry so you don't miss anything..

  • I started to really early just to relieve some anxiety and have a ready-made list - it's definitely still a work in progress. It's on Amazon.com and still set on private so only DH and I can look at it - it seems like you're a good amount further along than me, though, so probably a good time to start :) .

I'm only a FTM, but from everything that I've gathered and from the memories that I have of what my mom used most when my baby brother was born (he's only 9 now), here are some things that are probably useful:

    -Sleepsack
    -Burp cloths
    -Bathtub
    -Swaddling blankets
    -Changing pad & pad liners
    -Diaper bag
-An adjustable nursing pillow: https://www.amazon.com/Leachco-Natural-Boost-Adjustable-Nursing/dp/B00080LZVA/ref=br_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=IMUPSA2WFY1QB&colid=20POI6W84J3BB this just looked like it would be way comfier than a boppy + it had good reviews!
-Teething ring (I know it's early, but apparently DH started teething when he was only 2 months old, and so is our nephew currently!)
-Bottle warmer (I plan on BF, but sometimes I'll probably freeze/refrigerate the milk and will need to warm it up) - this worked really well for my mom. The problem with a lot of them is that they don't have a timer to shut off when the milk is warm enough, so many of the comments are about how it's a fire hazard because new parents are forgetful. I think that I will just go out and buy a cheap little timer and attach it to the warmer, so I can set it for myself.
    -Bottle sterilizer
    -Sling or wrap
    -healthcare & grooming kit
    -Monitor
-Electric breast pump (they're expensive so it would be nice if someone could get it for you :) )
-Humidifier - my MW were highly recommending having one in case LO gets sick

  • I'm registering at Right Start, Babies R Us, and on myregistry.com ( you can add stuff from any website, and I personally like it better than Amazon).  I googled "baby registry list" and from the lists on various websites, I compiled my own.
