We are considering using our grandmothers' names for a girl's name. These are our grandmothers:
Lillian Mae
Marion Emma
We do not want to duplicate the names exactly. Also, I would prefer not to use Lillian as a first name, simply because I want to avoid matchy-matchy-ness with the L-N of our son's name (Landon). I think Landon and Lillian sound too cutesy together.
How would these best be combined?
Re: How would you combine these names into a good first and middle option?
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Emmeline Mae/Marie and Marion Lily
I think Mae Marion kind of sounds like Maid Marion.
GL!
I like Marian Emma.
Emma and Lillian are way too popular FN's for me.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!

Emma Marion
I like Marion Mae or Mae Marion, but it's a little too close to Maid Marion from Robin Hood IMO.
